The area consists of the Elephant Terrace, Leper King, Preah Paleilay, Ancient Royal Palace, Phimean Akas, Baphoun, and Bayon.

After breakfast you will drive to Kompong Phluk (31km), a floating village that is built on 8m high stilts over the vast waters of Tonle Sap, a freshwater lake that is home to traditional fishing communities. This is a world heritage site and is best explored by a small wooden boat which enables you to sail amongst the stilt houses and through the flooded mangrove forest. Note that depending on the time of year the water level could be low, in which case you can see how high the stilts go and view the town from another perspective! Your guide may also suggest an alternative village if he knows of somewhere with a higher water level.
